BA Joinery were appointed to deliver a range of high quality joinery elements as part of the 70,000 sq ft fit out of the Royal College of Physicians’ new northern headquarters.
BAJ were engaged during the design development stages to assist with the VE from stage 3 to stage 4, ensuring the bespoke elements of the project costs were controlled.
This project was also delivered during the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore additional considerations had to be factored into the project. By following our Covid-19 procedures, we ensured this had minimal impact on the project.
BA Joinery’s package included:
Helical stairs
There was a lot of front-end design development that went into the stairs, ensuring all structural steel was hidden behind the timber panelling.

Reception desks across multiple floors, incorporating bespoke stone design doorsets.

College steps
Core wall cladding, incorporating seamless riser access panels.
