BA Joinery worked with Overbury to deliver a significantly sized high quality joinery package at the BBC Wales headquarters in Cardiff. We participated in design workshops from an early stage and at design stage sign off we hosted a factory visit where all areas were mocked up for the client and architect to approve which was extremely well received.
The project was delivered over 70 weeks across 6 floors, including open plan office space and meeting rooms, together with tea points, a staff restaurant and a large catering kitchen.
The scheme also included 4 television broadcast studios, 10 radio studios, dressing rooms and around 120 edit suites.
BA Joinery’s total package of works included:
Bespoke spines which were open work zones formed in the floor plates manufactured from PC aluminium, timber and glass.
